Earlier this month, Sliderstock had the privilege of supporting the Centre for Lebanese Studies (CLS) through our online auction services, an event that showcases the resilience and creativity of artists from around the world.
This auction featured a collection of artworks from talented creators in Syria, Lebanon, Mexico, and beyond, uniting diverse perspectives and artistic styles to raise awareness and funds for an important cause.
The Centre for Lebanese Studies was founded in 1984 by a dedicated group of Lebanese individuals residing between London, Paris, and Beirut. Driven by a shared concern for Lebanon’s challenges and future, they set up an independent academic institution focused on meaningful research to contribute to the country's recovery and lasting stability. Since then, CLS has remained committed to this mission, advancing research and education initiatives that address critical social, economic, and political issues facing Lebanon.
With Sliderstock's support, CLS raised over £50,000, which will directly fund their impactful programs.
"Impulse Decisions was an inspired choice for our small charity, raising over £50,000 for education in conflict. We just found it doing an online search. We wanted to a silent auction that was easy to operate and cause the minimum fuss for the guests. The whole process was simple and foolproof, including how payments were handled, and the team could not have been more helpful" James Watt, Trustee, Centre for Lebanese Studies
We’re honoured to have played a role in helping CLS continue its vital work for Lebanon's growth and resilience.
